I attended Mary’s pregnancy yoga classes and I had a wonderful experience. I joined the classes when I was 25/26 weeks pregnant. Prior to that I had stopped my usual daily yoga practice as I was not sure what was safe and good for me and my baby. Mary gave me the confidence again to practice yoga while pregnant and was a huge support throughout the rest of my pregnancy. I learnt so much about the benefits yoga for me while pregnant and in labour; the hormones, positions to achieve the optimal foetal position, some hypnobirthing and breathing techniques to help me with my surges. The best part was meeting other Mummies to be. At the start of each classes we’d let the group know the number of weeks we were and how we had been feeling. I found this so beneficial to engage with the Mums, and feel reassured we all do have the same aches and niggles while growing our little ones. I felt truly relaxed during and after the classes, I fell asleep more than once during relaxation too! I would highly recommend Mary’s pregnancy yoga classes! Thank you for an amazing yoga retreat Mary. We had such a wonderful time in Göcek, Turkey with you. Especially the beautiful setting for the yoga on the beach and even on a boat. Your teaching and understanding of yoga during each class was so valuable and greatly appreciated. The meditation practice is also something that we will take away with us.
